Postgraduate and Research Department of Economics

The Postgraduate Department of Economics has been offering B.A. Economics since 1957 and M.A. Economics since 1981 and M.Phil Economics since 1988. The department follows Choice Based Credit System and internal assessment. Its priority areas of research are Agricultural and Industrial Economics, Labour Economics, Monetary Economics, Human Resource Management, Entrepreneurship, Women Studies, Rural Economics, Environmental Economics and Fishery Economics.
