It is a course of bi-semester. The first semester prepares the students to understand the methodology of research which they put into practice in the forthcoming semester to write their thesis. They are equipped to write analytically so that they can attempt to do research papers and reports preparing the students for teaching and creative writing in English. They can also build career in English journalism. Upon completing M.Phil, they set their foot in higher research that is Ph.D. Hence, it is a pre-doctoral programme.
