M.Phil. in Zoology is an advanced postgraduate research program provided to conduct research in the subject. M.Phil. in Zoology is usually treated as a prerequisite for candidates who intend to apply for Ph.D. in the field. It can serve as a provisional enrollment for the Ph.D. Number of employment opportunities are also available for the graduates as Zoologists.
