Course Details :

B.Sc. Computer Science is a 3-year undergraduate program which deals with subjects and topics related to computer application and services. Technological implementation of computer systems is the main agenda of the program. The program ranges widely from creating quality professionals and research fellows who are working in every sector of the world today.

This course is suitable for those looking for a career in computers. Candidates, who love to fiddle with computers and who like to have an in-dept study of all aspects of a computer and computing. Students should have common knowledge about computer and other related searching things on net.

Students can pursue further studies in M.Sc. Computer Science or M.C.A., M.B.A. and follow it up by research or take up jobs as trainee programmers with a bright future ahead. A Bachelor of Computer Science degree is normally required in order to work in the field of software development.

After successful completion of this degree student can get jobs in Electronic Equipment Manufacturing Companies, I.T.Companies, System Maintenance Centres, Security and Surveillance Companies, Technical Support Centres, Banking Sector, Consultancies, Financial Insttutions, Insurance Providers, Schools and Colleges and Government Agencies.

Duration :  3 Years [Divided into 6 semesters.]

Eligibility : +2, Ranking based on marks in Part III out of 800.   

1. a) Should have studied Maths,
2. b) 2/3 of seats are for who have studied computer science as a subject in puls two.
   1/3 of seats are for students who have not studied computer science as a subject in plus two.
