The Competitive Examination Cell of our college was started in the year 2000.The main objective of the cell is to create awareness among students regarding various competitive examinations scheduled by the UPSC, Banking services, TNPSC, SSC, UGC-CSIR NET/SET examinations, etc. The cell conducts coaching classes as and when the advertisement tabled in the newspaper and also as per the need of the students. It also organises career guidance and counselling sessions to students.
APCV Chockalingam Manivizha centre of the college has been extending its services with the supply of study materials to the present and past students of our college and also to outsiders.
The centre was established with the donation from the Manivizha committee and was opened by Thiru. Peter Alphonse, MLA on 28/1/2006. The resources of this centre meet the needs of those who take up competitive exams like UPSC, TRB, and TNPSC, Banking services, SET, NET and TANCET. So far more than 1800 students have so far been benefitted by this centre on an average of 250 students per year.
